In P2 we continue learning new literacy skills and applying the ones learnt to our creative writing, reading and phonics activities. During our Shared Reading sessions and desk work activities we love learning more about certain aspects of characters or events related to our story book of the week.

In Maths we are concentrating on addition, subtraction and pairing quantities. We have also integrated daily, yearly and seasonal activities into our unit on Time.

We have had great success and fun in the water during swimming on Fridays with swimming instructor Leonie and coach Tim and Adam. Andrea and Carina are so proud of P2 students because they are safe and respectful students during our community access excursions to the pool. Well done!!! 

P2 students enjoyed the workshop with Aunty Christine, learning more about the Gubbi Gubbi people of our area.

We are almost at halfway point for Term 4, wow!!!! Luckily, we have a few more exciting events lined up; the Colour Fun Run in Week 6 and Primary and Early Years Swimming Carnival in Week 9.
