Secondary 6 has started the term 1 super focused on learning. Our class has been learning about 2D and 3D shapes in Mathematics. Look at the photos of S6 students working in teams to construct a pentagon. In English our class is learning about persuasive text, expressing and writing our opinions on topics of interest. The Boys STEM group have been engineers designing a tower that stands alone. With problem solving to make their towers stronger and more stable they successfully achieved their goal. The Girls Group made bracelets whilst developing their friendship skills talking about what friendship means to them individually. Science has been a real favourite and students have successfully completed Electronic BrainBox exploring switches, sound and light.
