Dear Families,

I can hardly believe we’ve reached the middle of the school year already! It feels like only yesterday we were welcoming everyone back for Term 1, and yet here we are ready to send reports and finalise semester 1.

This term, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to step into the role of Acting Principal for a week and a half. It was a privilege to support our amazing staff and students in a new capacity, and I enjoyed every moment especially seeing the school from a different perspective and focusing on strategies to help keep things running smoothly.

One of the recent highlights was our Sports Day, which was an absolute success! The energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit on display from students, staff, and families was nothing short of inspiring. A big thank you to Jennie Bryant and everyone who helped organise the day, students and parents cheered from the sidelines, and participated in the fun.

Now, I must confess, my pride took a little hit during the highly anticipated Deputy's Challenge 100m Race. I gave it my all, but was well and truly outrun by the fleet-footed Charlie! Congratulations, Charlie—your speed and sportsmanship were both impressive, and I’ll be training hard for a rematch!

Thank you again for your continued support and engagement with our school community and I am looking forward to moving into semester 2!
