Mid-year has arrived so quickly. We showed some great learning across all of the assessment tasks. In science we explained how we made things move with magnets, we even painted using magnets under the table. In English we wrote some very persuasive texts about things that are important to us, one student felt we needed a school story time dog while another agued a school calf would be better so we could hug it and the calf could make us laugh. In Maths we have loved exploring all sorts of shapes along side addition, subtraction and equal sharing.
On Friday, Sports Day was very exciting, with some students winning their nominated races. Then on Monday we had a great time at Archery. Some of us are great at hitting moving targets and some of us managed to shoot our arrows very long distances. It has been a big semester and we are all looking forward to the holidays and having a well-deserved break!
