What a whirl wind this term has been. Primary 2 have been busy with their measurement unit. We have enjoyed using the balance scale to compare the weight of objects. We investigated solids and liquids during Science and really enjoyed turning a solid chocolate bar into yummy liquid chocolate. We also explored a range of objects to investigate their properties, textures and were grossed out by the feeling of slime. We wrapped up our English unit on celebrations by planning a party for the primary cohort. We composed invitations and sent them to our friends, chose a suitable location and voted on what time we should hold the party. Although an all day party was the most popular choice, we ultimately agreed on a Friday afternoon party!
