Deputy Principal News

I can hardly believe Term 3 has already drawn to a close. Over the past seven weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with our school community and spending time with students both in classrooms and out in the playground.
It has been a privilege to work alongside staff in strengthening our approach to teaching phonics for reading and spelling, and a delight to hear students proudly share their learning. Thank you to Trinity and Skylah for proudly sharing their awesome writing with me (check out the photos). I have also appreciated the opportunity to review our systems of support, helping students recognise their current emotional state within the Zones of Regulation and develop effective strategies to manage and regulate their emotions.
I hope you all have a wonderful spring break, and I look forward to reconnecting again in the future.
