Wow! Time flies when you are having FUN. I can’t believe we are at the end of term 3

EY2 has worked so hard this term and have made excellent progress on so many levels.

This term we have looked at very humorous books with rhyming elements. Our favourite so far has been The rhyming dust bunnies where we used Velcro letters to create new rhyming words in order to avoid being sucked up in the vacuum cleaner.

It was great seeing all the fun and creative costumes during book week. We had fun dressing up as our favourite book characters and decorating our classroom door. EY2 really enjoyed Aliens love underpants. We designed our own pairs of undies and decorated the door.

In maths we have been exploring number, creating quantities and connecting them to numerals; and in HPE we have been enjoying visiting Coach Tim for weekly soccer skill sessions.

Next term horse riding will continue on Wednesday and swimming will commence starting Friday week 2.

I hope that everyone has a great holiday, a time to rest and enjoy the fine weather.
