As we approach the end of another busy term, it’s a great time to reflect on the positive achievements we’ve shared as a school community. Our school expectations – I am a Learner, I am Safe, I am Respectful – continue to be at the heart of everything we do. It has been fantastic to see these expectations modelled consistently by staff and embraced by students across classrooms, the playground, and beyond.
A real highlight this term has been the way our students have engaged with the wider community. From horse riding adventures in the early years, to the primary excursion to the Maker Space at the library, to ten pin bowling and senior programs connecting with our community – each opportunity has given our students rich and rewarding experiences. These activities reflect an amazing step forward for our school, opening doors and building confidence in positive and meaningful ways for all our learners.
We also enjoyed some extra sparkle in Week 7 when Magic Glen visited with his incredible bubble show. The hall was filled with wide eyes, laughter, and plenty of bubbles floating everywhere – an unforgettable experience for students and staff alike!
Looking ahead, we have more to celebrate in the final week of term. The Ardy Shop will be open on Friday of Week 10, giving students the chance to trade in their tokens and celebrate their positive behaviour choices. And yes, me hearties, that very same day is Talk Like a Pirate Day – so get ready for a bit of swashbuckling fun across the school.
It has truly been a wonderful term full of learning, growth, and memorable moments. We are proud of the efforts and achievements of our students and the ongoing commitment of our staff in supporting them to be successful learners.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday break. Take the time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends – we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term ahead.
