The senior gardening class would like to thank Bunnings Gympie for their generous donation of a $100 gift card.  This card enabled us to purchase a new worm farm, some blankets for the top of our worm farms to keep our worms warm and also a new tap for the older worm farm.  The 2 farms gave us 9 litres of worm wee this week and we also harvested 19 tomatoes. Students are writing about the growth of our carrots and also measuring the tops of the carrots each week to document changes.  Students are selling the products from the gardens to staff and would also like to offer the worm wee to any parents/guardians of the school. Worm wee is $1 for 1 litre if you would like to purchase some worm wee please contact the office to arrange collection.  The money collected is counted by students added to our running tally sheet and helps with our mathematical processes.
