Our Musical characters Unit has come to an end. Many students have become very confident with using music symbols to write and perform their music. Students have enjoyed playing percussion instruments, especially the Djembe drums. It is great that they will have the opportunity to continue playing the drums next term in some of the sessions with Chappy Naomi.

Next term we will be studying Dance. The theme will be animals. In the first couple of weeks in the new term, we will be revisiting skills and knowledge that the students have gained from their Dance Unit last year. It will be exciting to see them build on their previous skills and knowledge to create and perform their animal themed dances.
