We have had an awesome first 6 weeks of term, with lots to celebrate.  Our first school cross country event has resulted in a number of our students being selected to compete at the Gympie District Cross Country Trials.  From these trials, 7 of our students were then selected to compete at the Wide Bay trials which will be held this Tuesday, 1st of June at Gayndah.  We are very proud of Cody, Geoffrey, Lukas, Rosie, Georgia and Jasmine for representing our school at this level and wish them every success of Tuesday!

School Sports Day is rapidly approaching.  Friday, 11th of June and we are very excited to be holding events that every student in our school can be involved in.  A program of events for sports day will be coming home this week.  Parents and caregivers are welcome to come and cheer and perhaps run in the parents Vs teachers relay event (please make sure you sign in at the office).  

We were very pleased to welcome Jane Farrell, a consultant speech pathologist with a wealth of understanding of AAC and early communication development.  Teachers and staff from other Gympie Schools engaged in a twilight PD session with Jane on Thursday afternoon and we all walked away with an appreciation for her expert knowledge.
