Primary 3
Congratulations to Locklan and Laila for achieving their silver Ardy awards. This means they have each received 500 ticks for following school rules, completing learning tasks and following the class routines. 10 ticks equates to 1 box on the expectations tracker and 50 boxes means they have earnt their Silver award! This is such an amazing feat in only 15 weeks of school, and even more remarkable considering how many 4 day weeks we have had this term.
The class are all enjoying their extra P.E lesson with coach Tim, who is teaching them techniques and safety rules for each event in the upcoming sports day. So far we have practised: running, shot put, javelin, high jump and long jump. I am so proud of how the students are listening and following instructions. The support and congratulations shared between the group is heart-warming to witness. Sports day is on Friday 11th June and we would love to see all the families there, cheering on our talented students.
Rosie also needs a shout out for competing in the cross-country event at the Gympie Zone district trials, she has been selected to compete in the next round at the beginning of June – well done Rosie.
