As the term is rapidly coming to a close, all students are working really hard in Geography and making some great learning gains. Students in Early Years are exploring places they may be familiar with, like the beach, farms, town, and, being introduced to using the language of direction. Primary students will begin the mapping element of this unit after completing their tasks on places at the local scale. Secondary students are exploring the connections we have with places, including how Australia is connected with the rest of the world. This provides them the opportunity to expand their world view. After the holiday’s students will start looking at their assessment tasks. Have a great break everyone.
