Early Years News
Early Years students and staff thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Riding for the Disabled in Week 6. Even our new Prep students, having not done horse riding before, were very brave getting on the horses and enjoyed their ride and found confidence along the trail. All students followed the school rules during our excursion both on the bus and at RDA. They were all Safe, Respectful, Learners.
We continue to do our English Unit and are enjoying rhyming texts and nursery rhymes. The students love listening to stories, doing the actions for nursery rhymes and expressing their learning through art and craft.
Our Early Years classes have been combining for group games in the afternoon. The students have joined in games including: Duck, Duck, Goose, Doggy, Doggy Where’s Your Bone and What’s the time Mr Wolf. Students are gaining experience of taking turns, waiting, following directions and using their communication skills.
Thank you
