Early Years 2 News
The children are having lots of fun while learning about ‘push’ and ‘pull’ in science. They took turns to push and pull the teddies in the cars. Pushing the match-box cars down the PVC ramp involved counting, taking turns and sharing the cars. These hands-on activities help the children to consolidate the concepts we are learning.
We are excited to watch the children spend more time sitting together in the group during the morning sessions. Learning with and from each other is an important stage of their development.
Our Student of the Week award winners this term are:
Isaiah for responding to requests, such as to come and join in or move to another area.
Ayden: for using words and conventional behaviours, such as directing attention and guiding in a particular direction to request activities.
Dominic received a Silver Ardy Award.
