Over the last couple of weeks in Design Technology students have explored pulleys, winches and robotic hands.  They investigated how pulleys and winches are used on the likes of tow trucks and cranes to lift things up.  Last week students made robotic hands out of paper and straws which could open and close by pulling a string.  This week we are learning about parachutes and will be designing some of our own to try out.  Technology is fun!
