We have been having great fun learning in EY4. In math we have been watching and acting out counting songs including 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive and 5 current buns. We then made fish and current bun art as well as painting the numerals 1-5.

In English we have listened to the books ‘No way Yirrikipayi’ and ‘Echidna and the shade tree’ and then made beautiful crocodile and echidna art.

On Friday we could hardly contain our excitement as we waited for the afternoon when our mums and grandma came to visit us in our classroom. To help us wait we watched the photo montage that would play during the visit and talked about all the fun things we had taken part in so far this year.  We enjoyed showing all the adults how clever we are and how much work we do.

Trista and Codie would like to thank the parents and grandparent for visiting us and look forward to seeing you many more times throughout this school year. We hope you have a great school holiday and look forward to term 2.
