S2 News
Semester 2 has already come to an end and what a great semester it has been. This term has been full of learning, excursions and other activities including the parent visit, sports day and the Gympie show.
The students loved making scones for the parent visit and all students could take part in the baking process. Students, parents and teachers enjoyed the scones after a performance by the school choir and games on the oval.
Earlier in the term we visited the Gympie show. All the students were safe and respectful while we took a stroll around the showgrounds, firstly looking at the award-winning chickens and roosters, followed by watching the horses jump over hurdles, and later the farm tractor races.
Our athletics carnival was at the end of week 9 and involved the students participating in races, long jump, javelin, discus and other activities. It was a great day with students of all different abilities taking part in the activities and encouraging each other through cheering and house chants.
We hope you have a happy and healthy holiday and look forward to seeing everyone back at school for Term 3.
Warmest Regards,
Mr. Declan, Cody, Leni, Rebekah, Hayley, Mia, Mason, Miss Sabana
