WOW, I can’t believe it is already week 5. Half way through term!!!

Where has the time gone?

Over the past 4 weeks, EY2 has been busy with our units of work.

In English we have enjoyed reading the books: “Wheels on the ute” and “If you’re happy and you know it Aussie edition”. We have also explored animals from the texts; playing with figurines, making scenes from the stories and getting messy when doing book of the week activities and crafts.

In maths we have been exploring numbers by participating in hands on activities and in HPE we have been enjoying the soccer skills sessions with Coach Tim.

Friday of week 3 we took part in planting a tree for National Tree Day tree day.

Last week, we welcomed a new friend to the classroom. We all hope “S” enjoys his learning journey at Gympie Special School.
