S5 News
Term 3 has been very busy, some of us have been to play in a soccer tournament in Maryborough. Our fastest runners and athletes have been to District athletics.
We have been busy learning about information texts and are learning about Australian animals. We have been researching environments, diet, habitat and appearance of some animals. Our favourite so far is the platypus.
We are learning about time in maths and learning to read a clock. We are also working on our numbers and addition. We are checking off days on the calender and eagerly counting down to camp. We are VERY excited to be spending the night at the Sunshine Coast Recreation centre. Please make sure you return your child’s permission form and make payment.
We joined secondary 1 to plant a tree for the school tree day, we watered it and will now check on it each week and make sure it is watered.
We have had lots of nasty bugs so thank you to those who have kept their children home when are feeling under the weather, it prevents it spreading to everyone, and keeps us all keen learners.
Until next time
Miss Karen, Miss Michelle, Charlie, Declan, Jed, Peter, Tommy and Tyson
