Early Years 2 News
Wow! Time flies when you are having FUN. I can’t believe we are at the end of term 3
EY2 has worked so hard this term and have made excellent progress on so many levels.
This term we have looked at very humorous story books that centre around Australian animals. Our favourite so far has been There Was An Old Bloke Who Swallowed A Chook where we stuffed the chook, galah, goanna, wombat and possum into the old blokes mouth and took turns using the switch to make the old bloke burp.
During book week we had fun dressing up as our favourite book characters and decorating our classroom door. EY2 looked at The Very Hungry Caterpillar where we fed the caterpillar all the yummy foods and made a caterpillar craft eating out favourite foods.
In maths we have been exploring number, creating quantities and connecting them to numerals; and in HPE we have been enjoying visiting Coach Tim for weekly soccer skill sessions.
I hope that everyone has a great holiday, a time to rest and enjoy the fine weather.
See you all in Term 4
